Gonna be a good day tater…

I officially started my half marathon training today, kinda scary in a way to think in about 8 weeks I will be pushing myself to run 13 miles. I set a goal for myself being to finish around or better than 1:35. My fastest 10k is 48 min and 18 seconds so I think this is a reasonable goal to set. I started the first day off with a 2 mile warmup (15 min), followed by a 2 mile tempo run. This was tough not to just run 4 and be content, which would have been much easier. Now I’m off to school to study for my HESI and NCLEX. More to come……..
